Kawasaki Gas Turbine Asia (KGA) has achieved yet another important milestone in its history.
In September 2020, our squad of KGA Technical Advisors braved the rampant Covid-19 pandemic and have successfully accomplished the overhaul procedure and passed the stringent performance test for an unit of M7A series 3 (M7A-03) outside Japan for the very first time in Kawasaki’s history, and what’s more the entire local overhaul and testing process AKA First Article Inspection (FAI) was witnessed and approved remotely by the Quality Assurance team from Kawasaki Heavy Industries Japan (KHI) via video conference, beating the travel restriction odds.
It is KGA’s ultimate goal to strive to deliver client’s order on time, shorten required downtime at client’s site and improve cost effectiveness of client’s gas turbine in endeavour to safeguard interest of our clients in the region (Southeast Asia, South Asia and Oceania).
